Good works cannot save you.
Salvation is the FREE GIFT of God.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9
If you would like to ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you, you must:
1. See your need for salvation.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
(Romans 3:23)
2. Believe that Jesus is Savior.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8)
3. Ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sin.
"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned."
(Romans 5:12)
4. Through prayer, ask Jesus to be your personal savior.
"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
(Romans 10:9)
"For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
(Romans 10:10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
(Romans 10:13)
What to pray: Dear God, I have sinned and I am in need forgiveness. I ask you Jesus to forgive me of all my sin. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sin and was resurrected three days later. I invite you to come into my heart and life and be my personal Savior.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."
(John 1:12)
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior, please let us know. There are some things you need to do now that you are a Christian.
1. Read your Bible every day so you can get to know Christ better. Start with the Gospel of John.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
(Psalms 119:105)
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
(Philippians 4:6)
3. Go to Church.
"Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."
(Hebrews 10:25)
4. Tell others about what Jesus has done for you.
"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'"
(Mark 16:15)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."
(Romans 1:16)
